OUR branch participates in national and state Public Policy Activities. Every member has the chance to complete an Every Member Survey in even years that determine what the members’ priorities are for efforts in supporting legislation and as a means of letting our state representatives know what our positions and views are based on the results of the biannual priority list.

One of the best tools to help in this respect is the Two Minute Activist. This is both a national and a state way to express your views directly. See the State website for information on how to sign up. It is easy and quick to do. AAUW has always been an active participant in political action as it influences and affects women and girls.
