Welcome Message from AAUW OUR Branch President

A warm welcome to all who are interested in becoming members of the AAUW Ontario-Upland-Rancho Cucamonga Branch or just learning a bit more about this branch. OUR Branch was founded in 1955. Throughout these many years, the women of OUR AAUW have worked to provide opportunities for girls and women to advance through education, programs, resources and assistance. We have provided numerous scholarships to young women in order for them to achieve their dreams through education and advancement. We have sent so many seventh grade girls to the Tech Trek camp to be involved in and to learn about STEM opportunities. For all of them, their lives were changed forever. OUR AAUW has a membership of approximately 60 members and still growing. Being a member of this group is an opportunity to touch the life of a young woman or girl in a very positive way. You can make a difference in the lives of many with your AAUW membership.

Additionally, you will have many opportunities to attend meetings and fund raisers, to join a bridge group or a book club. Just for fun, there are monthly birthday dinners. You have an opportunity to become life-long friends with strong, independent, intelligent women who share your interests and support the goals and mission of AAUW. The only requirement for membership is the equivalent of an associate degree or higher. Whether you are a recent graduate, a stay at home parent, an active professional, or a retiree, we invite you to be part of OUR powerful voice on women’s issues. Please join us today.
