Ontario, Upland, Rancho AAUW Local Branch

OUR Leadership:  Local AAUW

Founded in 1955, OUR branch is 66 members strong and supports not only our National AAUW programs but California AAUW Fund as well, including Educational Foundation, Legal Advocacy, Fellowships and Grants, and Leadership Training for women.

Locally, we are partners with CHAFFEY COLLEGE providing scholarships for more than three decades to promote the education of women who seek to continue and complete their undergraduate degrees with any of California’s four-year colleges and universities. In 2024 OUR Branch awarded five $1000 scholarships to Chaffey College graduates.

8th-grade girls benefit from TechTrek—a STEM Camp on the Whittier College campus each summer; GovTrek offers 11th-grade girls experience in public service and politics, and our Public Policy chair selects involvement activities that educate members and the community on student loan debt, status of the passage of Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), and anti-book banning and censorship movements in local school boards.
